Writing a protocol: trainers' materials

This set of training materials about writing a protocol can be used in your workshops and adapted to your needs. 

For every Cochrane Review, it's important to plan the methods carefully in advance and this is done through writing and agreeing a protocol. Protocols are a required component of a Cochrane Review and are designed to avoid duplication and reduce bias. This presentation gives guidance on the rationale for writing a protocol for a Cochrane Review, the standard format for how protocols are structured and the content that you will need to provide.
